ABOUT

With over 25 years of international experience in architecture and sustainable design, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise, academic rigor, and practical innovation to every project.

Born on the island of Madagascar, I began my academic journey at the University of Madagascar, where I studied physics for two years before relocating to China in 1991 on a scholarship from the Chinese government to study Mandarin at the Beijing Language Institute.

I then earned my degree in Architecture from Tongji University, Shanghai (graduated 1997).

Relocating to Iceland, I established my career in Reykjavík as an Icelandic-licensed architect, working both independently and with leading firms such as

I have been fortunate to collaborate with many talented architects, engineers, and contractors throughout my career in Iceland, each of whom contributed significantly to my professional development and the knowledge I
possess today.

 

My hands on experience spans all project phases from conceptual sketching
and construction drawings to technical detailing and building licensing across diverse structures, including residential villas, commercial spaces, industrial facilities (gas stations, oil depots), and infrastructure (bridges, poultry slaughterhouses).

 

Driven by a passion for sustainable building practices, I pursued a master’s degree in environmental science and Natural Resources at the University of Iceland (2010-2012), where I developed an energy simulation tool for building design, validated through a case study of Háskólatorg.

 

Continuing to embrace evolving technologies, I enrolled in Politecnico
di Milano on the BIM-focused construction project program in 2022, further enhancing my proficiency in integrated digital design.

My work is defined by adaptability, precision, and a commitment to harmonizing
functionality with environmental responsibility.
